Please note that in order to improve listings on the database, we have split the Academic Courses and Study Days.

An Academic Course is considered to be a unit of study for which the student is required to register with the provider organisation, extends over a period of time and results in a formal qualification from an accredited awarding body (which should be outside the provider organisation). A Study Day will normally be considered a short course of study (usually a day), which normally does not require participants to register as a formal student with the provider organisation and whilst may provide a certificate of attendance, would not normally result in a formal qualification from an accredited awarding body.
